Your visit to the White House: You were played by a sociopath.

Dear Bill Maher,

I, too, believe that we should speak honestly with those we disagree with, or even fear, when the opportunity is there.

And I believe that your experience at the White House with our 47th president marked an important opportunity to help the public to face truth.

I am not one bit surprised at the graciousness you saw. But, what you do not see is that you were played.

DJT is a sociopath, and savvy sociopaths are skilled con artists who make people feel they care, leading them to experience “decency” that is non-existent, as well as overlook noticeable unsavory attributes.  Further, skilled sociopaths have many faces.  That’s how DJT won the presidency.  He conned you, as he conned many voters who continue to believe he cares about their well being and the well being of our country. In parallel mode you reported his charm, his ability to hear and respond with good will and humor.  Which he knew you would report, offering him credence.  

It is interesting, however, that you state you do not remember a response to an essential question about who won the 2020 election.  Skilled con artists also play with your brain, making you question what you are hearing.  So either you really, really do not remember, or you were so charmed that you are unable to report what you heard.  Or a combination? 

Your report is a crystal clear picture of why DJT became our president.  His supporters were conned, and so were you.
